Strack, Inc.’s Training Program includes extensive new-hire training as well as ongoing operator and leadership development. Every aspect of the program, from simulation environments to specialized workshops, is designed to foster innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning including a dedicated Training Team, a 2500 sq ft training facility, a mobile training trailer, and an 8-acre Training Ground, equipped with advanced heavy equipment, on-site classroom space, and CAT and TenStar simulators. These environments foster hands-on learning and provide daily training for crews, along with opportunities for external groups to participate in field trips and demonstrations.

Newly hired Strack employees receive a full week of training focused on safety, performance standards, and personal development as a foundation for future learning.

Training Ground Grand Opening Event

After years of dreaming, planning, and development, the Strack, Inc. team celebrated the Grand Opening of their new Training Ground.
This 8-acre site serves current team members and new hires by providing hands-on safety, maintenance, and operator training on new equipment as well as simulators. There is also an on-site building for classroom training and education.

Forget those dusty old training buildings
We wanted a better training experience for Strack employees than the makeshift classrooms and outdated safety videos. So we added heavy equipment simulators, a mobile training center, and a 8-acre Training Ground for hands-on employee development—because if we’re going to do something, we’re going to do it right.

We outfitted an entire building of our headquarters with training equipment and materials to provide a comfortable space that’s perfect for large-group and breakout learning.

8-acre Training Ground
We’ve dedicated an entire eight acres to giving new operators hands-on experience in the cab, without the pressure of a live site environment. This gives Strack employees a huge advantage and sets them up for success.

When we say “Safety First,” we mean it literally—safety training is the starting point of every Strack employee’s experience at our company. Because without a solid foundation of how to work safely, any additional training a person receives will be incomplete. In other words, to work well, you must first work safely. That’s where Strack comes in.
We start every new employee’s training with a full week of fundamental safety training inside our world-class facility. We tackle the fundamentals of workplace safety across all positions, so that by the end of your first week, you’re fully prepared to go to work.

Frontline Leadership Training
Strack’s Frontline Leadership Training program (FLT) is an investment in our people. During a six-day journey spread out over six months, participants across various positions within our company grow both as leaders and in knowledge of every division in our company.
Our FLT program covers industry topics such as estimating, scheduling, and equipment utilization, as well as topics such as leadership versus management, working with the next generation, and situational leadership. In addition to these topics, FLT is also a staging ground for instilling our Core Values into every employee at Strack. As our leaders embrace and live out the values, they take shape at every level.
